We celebrated Maths Week this week and took part in lots of investigations that required logical thinking. We completed activities using technology, manipulatives and running round to find the answer.
One of our favourite activities was where we had to solve a calculation to get a number. We then had to look on the board to discover a letter associated to that number. Once we had found all the answers, and letters, it spelt a word.
We also enjoyed the no pens day on Friday where all the activities were hands on. We had to use Lego to build walls to a set amount, and put counters on circles so they added up to 10 horizontally and vertically. We really had to think!
