Our year 5 boys football league have started their league campaign with an emphatic win vs Five Elms.
It was the first game of the long awaited season for the year 5 boys, many of whom were making their first appearance in our boys football team. A few of our members had gained experience from the previous year and continued to show their match experience in style.
None more so than Mark. C, who captained the side for the first time, setting the standard for the team with a willing attitude, effort and good behavior. He got his rewards scoring 4 goals on the day and helping the team to a historic 8-1 win. The biggest win recorded in a year 5 boys football match for Monteagle. Congratulations and well done to all of the players involved on the day.
