We are fast approaching Christmas, and yet we are continuing to work around the clock to ensure our children have the structure and routine, as well as some extra activities mixed in along the way.
This week, some of our children have been visiting the library. They have a slot every week to go and sit in, sometimes to take books out and bring home, others to sit and enjoy different books in a new environment. The children enjoying walking to the library, and sit very well once inside, reading their books and smiling at the pictures.
Another class had some food exploration activities where they were making ‘bear toast’ out of bread, chocolate spread and bananas for the facial features. This can be a bit of a messy activity, but the children do enjoy this and love getting their hands dirty, especially if it means they get to eat it afterwards.
Finally, one class had a little visitor, who has been making a lot of mess and being mischievous around school. Take a look at the pictures below to see what has been happening and who the intruder was!
