This week reception children have been learning all about Christmas and enjoying fun activities altogether. They have made their Christmas cards, did lots of Christmas-theme colouring, cutting and sticking activities and also had the Christmas lunch. They wore their amazing Christmas jumpers and this added to the very Christmasy and festive environment all around in our school. Children had a lovely Christmas lunch with melodious Christmas songs been played on the interactive screen in the dinner hall and some children even joined in singing along with those songs.
Children also enjoyed their Christmas bonanza fete. They bounced on the bouncy castle, played games and won prizes and enjoyed train rides. The most thrilling moment was the visit from Santa with their class gift!
We are all very proud of how well our reception children have settled and made progress in this Autumn term. As the term is ending, Christmas festivities and music fills the air, making us get into the holidays mode- Here’s wishing you all, ‘Happy holidays!’.
