This term, Year 3 is diving into the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt. In our first lesson, we focused on understanding timelines—learning how to read them and discovering key events from different periods of history. The children worked in groups, collaborating to arrange the timelines in the correct order. To make the experience even more exciting, we were gifted a wonderful book by Santa for Christmas called ‘Egypt Magnified’, which allowed the children to explore the wonders of Egypt through a magnifying glass, uncovering details and sparking their curiosity.
