Since the start of 2025, Year 1 have been learning a new song called ‘Sing me a song’ which is a gentle waltz.
In this song, the singer is asking their friend to sing, dance and play with them. When we sing with others, it can help us feel more connected and closer to each other.
After learning the song the children talked about what they liked about it and learnt an instrumental on their glockenspiels using up to three notes: F, G and A major. They then improvised their own instrumentals. You can see just how well they got on below!
