This half term in computing, we have commenced our exciting programming unit titled ‘Moving a Robot’. Throughout this unit, we have started to understand the concept of algorithms and the essential role that clear instructions play in the operation of robots. We engaged in a hands-on activity where we created our own instructions and assigned these to a learning partner who assumed the role of a robot. This interactive experience was not only enjoyable but also highlighted the importance of precision in instruction-giving. We are now eagerly anticipating the opportunity to work with ‘Beebots’, allowing us to further develop our programming skills through practical tasks.
