This week, we have been celebrating Chinese New Year. The children had a wonderful time making spring rolls using child-friendly equipment. They carefully peeled the carrots and chopped the mushrooms, developing their fine motor skills along the way. They then mixed all the ingredients together before rolling them into rice paper wrappers. Finally, we cooked the spring rolls in the air fryer, creating a delicious and crispy treat for everyone to enjoy.

We have also been reading a book about the Lunar New Year and learned that this year is the Year of the Snake. To embrace the festivities, the children created beautiful paper lanterns, used scissors to cut up noodles, and designed their own vibrant dragon pictures. It has been a fantastic week filled with creativity, learning, and celebration!
