Autism Acceptance Week is fast approaching!
Over the past few years, Monteagle have been coming together to raise money for a local charity named the ‘Sycamore Trust’. They are situated just down the road (5/ 10 minute walking distance from school) near Becontree station, and they have worked with a number of our ARP and mainstream families to support with children and young adults with Autism.
As mentioned before, last year we were raising money for this charity. In 2023, we raised around £400 which went towards days out and . Last year, we doubled the money raised, with a whopping £849.52! This was a mixture of amazing donations online via the JustGiving page we set up, as well as adults and children throwing in some coins and notes on across the week. More information will follow at a later date regarding Autism Acceptance Week here at Monteagle.
