For our topic light and dark we have had lots of fun inside our special dark tent, using torches to explore how shadows are created. The children have been curious and engaged as they discovered how light changes the way things appear.
In phonics, we are focusing on the sound o. The children have also been working hard to recognise and practice writing their names.
In math, we have been learning about positional language. The children have been exploring terms like on, behind, next to, under, and in through hands-on activities.
To support fine motor skills, we have been doing dough disco activities, which help strengthen our hands for writing and other tasks. We’ve also enjoyed Beat Babies, a fun singing and dancing activity that keeps everyone active and engaged.
Lastly, some children have been exploring our Curiosity Box and Bucket Time activities, which are designed to help focus attention and stimulate curiosity.
We’re so excited about the progress everyone is making and can’t wait for more adventures next week.
