In Part 2 of our “Keeping Healthy” Science topic, Year 3  had the exciting opportunity to design a balanced diet food plate for a client they’ve been working with in their groups. The creativity was amazing to see as the children brainstormed and crafted a wide variety of healthy foods using an assortment of materials, including sponges, vibrant coloured card (green in particular), paper, pasta shells, and brown paper. They then carefully labelled each food item and identified which food group it belonged to.
