The sensible ladybird came to the rescue!

This week in reception, we read the story ‘What the ladybird heard’ written by Julia Donaldson and  illustrations done by Lydia Monks.After listening to the story, all children participated in various activities based around the theme of this book. They used construction toys to make their own farm and selected their favourite animals that they would to look after in their own farm. Children did cutting and sticking activities, did observational drawings and wrote sentences in their booklets about their favourite farm animals. All the children had fun and will be doing more exciting activities on this same theme next week as well.
