Our Year 6 children are developing important life skills through a hands-on character education project—growing their own vegetables! They have planted potatoes and carrots, taking turns to water and nurture them. This experience helps foster responsibility, patience and teamwork. Gardening also teaches children about where food comes from and the benefits of growing fresh, healthy produce. Beyond the practical skills, this project encourages a sense of pride and accomplishment, reinforcing the values working hard and respect for nature. We look forward to seeing a delicious harvest!
