The Student Council has once again demonstrated the power of student leadership with their latest initiative: Your Vote, Your Choice! Passionate about giving every child a say, the council lobbied Ms. Rider to allow an afternoon where children could vote for an activity of their choice. Their enthusiasm and dedication paid off, and the result was a fantastic way to end the term!

Each class was given the opportunity to vote for one of five exciting activities: a game on the field, a ‘Move and Snack’ session, arts and crafts, a talent show, or a Kahoot challenge. The excitement in the air was undeniable as children cast their votes and eagerly awaited the results.

Today, the school buzzed with energy as children participated in their chosen activities. The field was alive with laughter and teamwork during the games, while the arts and crafts session showcased incredible creativity. The ‘Move and Snack’ group combined movement and delicious treats, keeping spirits high. Meanwhile, the talent show revealed hidden stars, and the Kahoot challenge had everyone on the edge of their seats with thrilling quizzes.

Seeing so many smiles and hearing the cheers of encouragement was a heart-warming reminder of the importance of student voice. The Student Council’s initiative not only fostered a sense of democracy and choice but also created lasting memories for everyone involved.

A huge well done to the Student Council for making this happen and to every child who participated with enthusiasm! We can’t wait to see what the council will come up with next!
