On Thursday the 18th of November the Nursery children and parents took part in a charity event for the Salvation Army. Parents and children had a great time filling shoe boxes with a selection of gifts they bought and then decorated and wrapped the boxes with colourful Christmas paper and decorations. The children also made cards and pictures to go with each shoe box. The shoe box event was very successful with so many parents making generous gift donations. The shoe boxes will be distributed around Barking and Dagenham, Ilford and Havering over the Christmas season. We are sure that many girls and boys will have wonderful surprises this Christmas.
