In the Nursery we have been reading the popular story called ‘Owl Babies’. As part of our topic on owls on Friday in the Nursery we had a visit from the Owls. We really enjoyed learning about the different types of owls and where they live. For our visit we had the barn Owl, the whited faced Scops Owl, Indian Eagle Owl and the Tawny Owl.
We watched them eat and were very excited when they flew from one side of the room to other when we blew a whistle. The best part was having an owl sit on our shoulders.
The children had fun spending time with friends from the other Nursery session and some good friendships were formed today.
