On Monday and Tuesday some of our Nursery children talked about the celebration of Eid. The children also listened to a teacher talk about this celebration as well as watching an information video about how children and families celebrate this special occasion.
We also enjoyed looking at the Mehndi patterns that a Mum and some children showed us during circle time. The children were very interested to create their own patterns and many children traced around their hands and drew pretty patterns on their hand drawings. We also used paint and chalk on large sheets of paper to create our own Mehndi patterns.
