This week, Year 4 have been getting hands on with exploring ‘sound’.
We were exploring how sound is made and how sound is heard.
“When I swung the metal hanger onto an object outside, the sound travelled through the hanger, through the string and into my ears because I looped the string around my ears.” Eyram said.
“Yes, when the hanger hit the objects, the sound waves vibrated through the hanger and string as they travelled up to my ears. The tiny hairs in my ears also vibrated and sent the message to my brain. That’s how I heard the sound it made.” Mohamed continued.
