This week we have been celebrating maths week across the school. In Year 1 we took part in a maths code breaking challenge at the start of the week and had a brilliant time using our maths skills to solve problems to reveal a mystery code word. We have also been having lots of fun in our ‘mastery of numbers’ sessions exploring different ways to represent numbers and explaining what we know about numbers.
During our curriculum sessions this week, we have continued to prepare resources for our toy museum. We have been learning about dolls this week and created our very own peg dolls. We used old fashioned pegs, fabric, elastic bands, thread and felt pens.
