This week in science we hypothesised about the effectiveness of adding extra cell packs into circuits.
Some children believed that this extra power would have a significant effect on whichever component was being used (buzzer, fan or light-bulb). Other children questioned this, suggesting that adding more power to the circuit, may in fact, overwhelm the circuit and cause the components to fail.
It was really interesting to see the children argue their points and then set about proving (or disproving) their ideas.
The children then recorded their results in true scientist fashion, onto charts and tables. Good work everyone!
