What a fantastic start Year 5 have made to the new school year! On Wednesday morning, they burst into school with huge smiles, looking incredibly smart and keen to learn. Not wasting any time, the children have already started thinking about their aspirations for the year and beyond. They played a few maths games, and used a thesaurus to look up disgusting words to describe decayed food in Mr Twits beard!
They have also started to read ‘The Twits’ in class, allowing them to start getting excited about Roald Dahl’s birthday next week.
