Every day’s a fun day in Reception. All the children participate in a range of activities like reading, writing, cutting, sticking, stacking, modelling and making … we love them all!
This week, we have been reading the book, ‘A new house for mouse by Petr Horacek. We became very creative and created badgers’ habitat. We were also exploring our senses. We also did lots of exploring and observational drawings. In one of our exploring activities, we had to touch and feel some fruit in the basket and without looking at the fruit, we had to guess what it was. After that we did the observation drawing of that fruit and wrote the name of it. We also helped in putting the furniture and other stuff in our role play area, ‘Home sweet home.’ Look at some of the activities we have been doing. It’s been a very busy week but we loved doing it all!
