It’s been a very busy first week back after the half term break, in the Reception year. All the children very quickly settled back into their daily routines. This week children have reading the story about the three little pigs and were eager to do all the activities based around this story. It was lovely to see all so engrossed and looking for every opportunity to learn. In Maths, children have been learning to recognise and add money to buy their favourite foods. For the focus activity in Literacy, children have been learning to identify rhyming/ non-rhyming words and completed their work in their books. Children have also had the opportunity to do role-play, re-tell the story of the three little pigs in their own words and do a variety of creative activities too.

The photos attached will tell a lot more about how busy and how much fun all the children have had this week!
