Silk elephants are a charity that was opened in March 2020. In response to COVID19, they have grown from four people to around 1,000 volunteers and Kindness Ambassadors – they cover the whole of the UK and have shared kindness with over 46,000 people, including children in the UK and have reached overseas to the US and Europe.
The children at Phoenix at Monteagle were nominated to receive handmade knitted elephants. The children were pleased with their elephants; they certainly brought a beaming smile to each child’s face!
Today the children wrote letters to Silk Elephants to thank them for being so thoughtful and kind! Please take a look at some of our children showing off their elephants.
