It was lovely to see all the children return looking so smart and so much taller than they were before the summer.
This week in Year 6 we have been reading ‘The Twits’ by Roald Dahl. All our learning in our English, grammar, reading and curriculum lessons has been based around the story and Roald Dahl’s life during the Second World War.
We acted out the chapter called ‘Squiggly Spaghetti’ and then turned this into a playscript. We focused on the use of our vocabulary to help the actors really understand the character they were portraying and what actions they were specifically carry out before, during and after the actor is speaking.
Watch Keyaan and Andrey put their spin on the chapter and read Adam’s playscript.
