On a wet and windy Friday Year 2 set off on an adventure to Chatham Dockyards. The children were really excited but didn’t know what to expect.
When we arrived the classes went their separate ways to take part in different workshops. They met a pirate and learned more about a pirates life; they discovered that there are different types of rope all made from a range of materials and participated in a rope making session. The children were delighted when they got to go on a submarine. They all agreed that they wouldn’t like to live on a submarine because it was so cramped.
Everyone had a fantastic day.
