This week, Year 1 finished learning Starlight starbright ready to perform in assembly. All those who wanted to perform alone did so using a microphone! It was great to see their confidence grow as nearly every child sang on their own!
They then learnt a song in the style of Jazz called ‘Alice the camel’ and learnt some fascinating facts about how many humps camels have and what their hump is used for. They then began learning an instrumental on their glockenspiels using four notes with a number of rests, making it challenging to get the timing right!
