Our Year 5 children had an absolutely fantastic day at Stubbers Adventure Centre! From the moment they arrived, they threw themselves into an action-packed schedule filled with exciting activities that challenged them to step out of their comfort zones, work as a team, and most importantly—have lots of fun!
The children showed incredible determination and courage as they tackled the Leap of Faith, pushing themselves to climb high and make that daring jump. In archery, they honed their focus and precision, with many hitting the target (and some even scoring bullseyes!). Canoeing was a brilliant opportunity to work together on the water, learning how to paddle in sync while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And in bushcraft, they discovered essential survival skills, from fire-making to shelter-building.
It was a joy to see their enthusiasm, resilience, and teamwork throughout the day. They encouraged each other, celebrated successes, and made some wonderful memories that will stay with them for a long time.
