On Friday, the children in Year 6 got the opportunity to work with Artyface on expanding the mosaic in front of the EYFS and Year 1 building. This was made possible thanks to a £1000 grant that Monteagle won from Tesco Bags of help.
The children were broken into small groups – like up-cycled pottery – and from there, they were able to sort the tiles which would be used for the final mosaic. Together they modified designs and selected tiles to bring the designs to life; they really demonstrated creativity . Check out the photos below to see the amazing work.
