This week, Year 1 has been honouring Autism Acceptance Week at school. We engaged in learning about autism and explored the varied experiences of others. Through our reflections, we celebrated our differences by creating a heart composed of individual pieces, symbolising the unique contributions of each class member. The week culminated in a delightful ‘Dare to Be Different’ dress-up day, raising funds for the Sycamore Trust charity. We thoroughly enjoyed this meaningful celebration.
