MEAN – MODE – MEDIAN – RANGE
We have been working very practically this week in maths, problem solving and developing our understanding of Averages.
Using DICE (2/3/4/5 digit numbers) and BOOKS (word length) to generate their own ‘random’ data sets, the children have then put their freshly acquired knowledge of average, to the test. They have worked collaboratively and as systematically as possible, being left to problem solve all on their own.
