On Thursday year 4 had their very belated visit from an author.
Ciaran Murtagh is known for his books of ‘Dinopants,’ ‘Dinopoo,’ and many other books. In fact, he has written over 50 books, and also many tv series, such as ‘Mr Bean.’
Ciaran was highly amusing as he recalled conversations with his mum about his Dino series of books. He encouraged us all to think of ideas for a group story, which we chose to be called ‘The Rumbling Rubbish,’ and we influenced the direction that the story would take.
He answered our questions and encouraged us all to become writers, and to edit our ideas and thoughts. It was a very enjoyable session.
