Our focus this half term is WW2, and this week our attention focused on the ‘Battle of Britain’ and the blitz.
We considered what life must have been like for people living through the war and we tried to put ourselves in younger children’s positions – living through WW2 and the regular German bombing campaigns, over Great Britain.
We listened to the classical air raid siren and staged a mock role play of what it would have been like in school, if you had no bomb shelter to seek safety in.
