This week Reception have been reading a ‘Power of Reading’ story called ‘Biscuit Bear’ by Mini Grey. The story follows the adventures of a baked creation as he comes to life and discovers the world around himself.
Earlier in the week, we visited our school cook where she talked us through her daily routine, her uniform and how she cooks some of the food for us.
Inspired by the cook visit and the story ‘Biscuit Bear’ we then went on to have lots of fun baking our own Biscuit Bears.
We took photos of each stage when making the biscuits and as a class made our own recipe book. We then wrote captions under each photo.
