On the final day of last half-term, the whole school gathered together for an assembly to celebrate the work that had been carried out in each class around Black History month. Year five showcased a drama based a time in History when Ancient Egypt was ruled by black pharaohs. These pharaohs came from the renowned Kingdom of Kush, today known as Sudan, which is one of the ancient civilisations that were advanced in terms of organisation, culture and politics.
