This term we are learning about ‘Coding’ in our Context lessons. We have already learnt how to send messages via Semaphore and Morse Code and this week we continued to learn how to send messages using ciphers. We used https://www.simonsingh.net/The_Black_Chamber/caesar.html to check our codes we created last week. Some of our codes had bugs (mistakes) which we had to correct. We then started to decipher codes that had been encrypted using random letter generator. We had to guess using a combination of the most-common two and three-letter words. Miss Feeny was great, she didn’t even to use the website to crack the code?
