Last week, Monteagle had Christmas Dinner day, where the menu changes to be festive and Christmassy!
The staff here in the ARP try to make a bit of a fuss when it comes to Christmas lunches to make the experience fun and exciting! We have the lunches in class and move all the tables around for the children to be in one large group. We provide Christmas crackers for the children to pull, wear hats and have personalised place mats for all the children.
Most of the children had the Christmas Dinner, with others having their own personalised packed lunches with small Christmas treats. For dinner, the children had a beautifully cooked roast turkey, sausages, parsnips, carrots, brussels sprouts, stuffing and roast potatoes, all topped with gravy.
Some of the children wore Christmas jumpers, to be fully immersed in the festivities! We even had Santa make a quick appearance for the children after they had eaten!
Here are the pictures of the classes enjoying their Christmas Dinner, take a look!
