This week the children have been learning all about the King’s coronation. They saw pictures of King Charles III, Queen Consort Camila, Buckingham Palace, street parties and the royal crown. We discussed that for a very long time we had a Queen and that King Charles is her son.
To celebrate we made giant Union flags and crowns made with different shapes. We read stories about the coronation and of course had a wonderful Friday in our own clothes and a bouncy castle in our garden.
It has been a really special week and the children have had a fabulous time.
