This week, in Year 3 the children listened and learnt a song called ‘Home in where the heart’. After listening to the music, the children identified some of the instruments they could here and that it was in the style of country music.
After then learning the words to the song, the children rehearsed and performed an instrumental section to the song using three notes. You can see Millie and Hannah perform this in the videos below.
After this, they were given time to improvise their own instrumental section for the song using no more than five notes on the glockenspiel. Below you can watch the musical compositions that Noura, Perez and Azeez came up with!
