This term, we continue with our work of patterns. The children were given paper plates to create stencils of patterns and then had an opportunity to print with them using markers as an experiment. It is very important that the children are given a chance to experiment with creating these stencils first as the process of the art is just as important as the final outcome.
Next week we will use printing inks and foam sheets to create vibrant prints on large paper. Check out some of the photos below of the children planning their stencils. Stay tuned for more updates.
