This week in Year 1 has been a remarkable one filled with engaging activities. During our English lessons, we had great fun reading about a robot’s dance and subsequently recreating it ourselves. Our discussions revolved around the language used in the description and how it translated into our movements. We also looked closely at the scene where the robot and the bluebird interact and took on the roles of the characters to explore their actions and feelings. Additionally, we concluded our history topic on toys with pride by hosting delightful toy museum opening events for our parents. We thoroughly enjoyed guiding our parents on tours of the museum and encouraging them to participate in an interactive quiz, which required plenty of assistance. Overall, it has been a fantastic week in Year 1!
