Today Year 1 learnt a new song all about the days of the week. What makes the song extra special is that not only did the children sing the days of the week in English but also in Spanish! They talked about the song, what they liked about it and how it made them feel.
They then learnt an instrumental on their glockenspiel using three notes: F, G and A major. You can see just how well Taliah-Rose, Emma and Abiyami are getting on learning it below.
The children have also been given the challenge of learning the days of the week in any language they speak at home ready for our lesson next week. Amelia from 1G impressed us all this afternoon by telling us the days of the week in Chinese! Well done Amelia!
