This week, the children began learning about division. Working with a partner, they used counters to work out a range of different division facts. They had to make a number using counters and then share the counters into different groups to find the answer. As you can see from the pictures, the children really enjoyed using the counters with their partner. It was a great start to the week!
Next week, they will start to use the bus stop method to divide two and three-digit numbers.
