Full steam ahead for year five as we return after a relaxing winter break. Although it has been a short week, we have been eager to get ahead with this terms exciting learning.
In English, as part of our exploration of the text “Street Child”, we created a freeze frame from chapter thirteen of the book. Each group decided a scene which they wanted to create from the eventful chapter. It was a wonderful way for us to really explore characters emotions and actions within the text.
In maths, we fuelled our maths brains by tackling some ratio problems. To inject some fun into our learning, we played an awesome ratio game with our math partners.
As you can see, we have been busy bees in year five! We are determined to continue this enthusiasm and vigour for our learning for 2018!
