This week Year 1 went on a trip to Eastbury Manor house. We spent time exploring the house and different artefacts to find out about the past. We met Pat, Barbara and Morey who were all dressed in traditional Tudor clothes. The children enjoyed learning about the tools that would have been used by the family and the servants back when the house was built as well as exploring the clothes they wore.
It was great to find out that you can even learn about the past from buildings!
