As part of of topic ‘Time detectives’ the children in Year 1 have been exploring how to find out about the past. We have discovered that buildings can be a source of information as well. This week we visited Eastbury Manor house to exploree the building and look at artefacts to teach us about the house and the family who lived in it. The children had great fun exploring the house, playing tudor games, learned a tudor dance and even dressing up in tudor clothes.
