What an incredible week it has been for Year 5! The children have had a truly enriching time, with a range of special visitors and performances that brought learning and fun to life.
Cinderella Pantomime
We kicked off the week with a visit from Panto in a Day where the children enjoyed the timeless tale of Cinderella. The pantomime was full of humor, music, and audience interaction, leaving everyone laughing and cheering. It was wonderful to see the children immerse themselves in the joy of live performance, sparking discussions about storytelling and stagecraft back in the classroom.
Ikoro Theatre Visit
Later in the week, we were delighted to welcome the Ikoro Theatre Group to our school. Through a captivating performance and workshop, the children were introduced to the rich culture and traditions of the Nigerian people. They explored storytelling through music, dance, and drama, gaining insight into Nigerian heritage and its vibrant customs.
