This term, year 5 will be exploring the craft of making vessels and containers. Today they had a chance to conduct an investigation and answer some questions. They were given a variety of containers, and they had to answer how the containers were made, if they had any meaning, and whether or not the container was functional or decorative.
Over the next few weeks, the children will begin to create their own designs for a vessel they will be creating out of clay using an ancient clay technique. Stay tuned for more information but in the meantime check out the photos below.
