We had a wonderful start to our Parent and Carer Choir today! Music is good for your health and well being – it makes you feel good and brings us together. Parent and Carer choir is a great way to meet new people, have a laugh and sing together.
Today to warm up we sang ‘Iqude’ which is a song in Zulu. Then, we moved onto singing a hit song by the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin, who sadly passed away in the summer. We will be paying tribute to Aretha Franklin singing two of her biggest hits, ‘Say a Little Prayer’ and ‘RESPECT’.
Parent and Carer choir is free and is for everybody! We meet every Thursday at 9 am for tea and coffee in the Parent Room. Then we move into the Dining Hall for rehearsal.
We will be performing around the school and community. It is not too late to get involved, all voices and talents welcome!
