This term Year 2 were busy being Time Travellers and learnt about different historical events. They have learnt about Guy Fawkes, when the first Remembrance Day happened and the importance of wearing a poppy. They then went on to learn all about The Great Fire of London and finally learnt lots of interesting facts about the first moon landing.
To end our busy term we recreated The Great Fire of London on the school field. The children enjoyed making houses and building Pudding Lane. They were amazed to see how quickly their houses went up in smoke and gained a great knowledge of how things must have been like during The Great Fire of London.
